resume/about
It all began on Feb. 19 1968 at 10:29AM.
Thirty some years later I find myself in school studying welding. After spending fifteen years in the restaurant and bicycle industry I decided it was time for a change. I enrolled in the local community college’s welding program and started on my current path.
After finally finishing the welding program I took a job as a welder for a local company, the majority of my work has been converting old warehouse’s into condos and building new from the ground up, most of the building’s I worked on are on the East Side, Third Ward and Downtown areas of Milwaukee. I am currently working on various bridge projects in the Milwaukee area.
In addition to my work in the construction industry I also like to turn scrap metal into something cool or functional, see my flickr site. I prefer to work with found or “recycled” materials, I like going to the scrapyard or jumping in the steel dumpster at work to see what I could find and if I have to I use retail establishments to acquire steel.
My inspiration comes from many places, the material I find, everyday life, the material I find, places I’ve been, the material I find, the people that commission me, the material I find and most of all from my sick and twisted imagination and the material I find.
My Storied Career, It simply boggles the mind.
